I acquired a Singer 114x103 chainstitch embroidery machine in 2023 and have been obsessed with it since. It allows me to essentially paint with thread (via a hand-operated crank under the machine), so I am able to translate my illustration skills into tactile chainstitch embroidery pieces. I’m branding this side of my business as Loop 306 and creating a portfolio and list of services while also building a presence in Philly, offering live stitching at events and markets.
